Saving Tax Dollars While Improving Local Roads. Authored and helped pass Measure D which saved county taxpayers $1 million a year for road repairs.

Cutting his own Pay to Save Tax Dollars. When county departments were asked to cut budgets by 10% in 2004, Supervisor Logue led by example and volunteered to cut his salary by 10 %.
 
Reducing Costs for Homeowners. Helped negotiate a connection between home-builders and home owners to provide better drainage and flood control, thereby helping to lower flood insurance premiums.
 
Brought Patriotism Back to Our Schools. Led a successful effort to restore the pledge of allegiance in public schools.
 
Fighting to Protect Homes and Businesses. As Vice Chairman of the Three Rivers Levee Improvement Authority, Dan has led government actions to prevent massive flooding in the north state and helped create public-private partnerships funding for necessary levee repairs.
 
Under Dan’s leadership, the County has secured $140 million in funding to improve levees. The county is four years ahead of the rest of the state in achieving its flood control objectives.
 
Creating New Jobs. Dan has been responsible for bringing over 1230 new jobs to the County. He has also helped reduce unemployment by 40% and transform a community that suffered from high unemployment into the commercial center of the county.
 
Protecting Taxpayers. Converted the Shad Pad from a 30 year-long liability (safety and air quality problems) to a Moto-Cross Park. Dan’s good work helped save the county taxpayers thousands of dollars from possible litigation.
 
Serving Seniors. Led the push to establish a 35,000 square foot facility that served as a one-stop senior citizen service center -- at no cost to the tax-payers.
 
Honoring local Veterans. Founded and Chaired a committee that raised $350,000 in private donations to build two world-class Veterans Memorials. Helped install and dedicated a marble plaque "The Court of Honor" at the County Court House to honor the names of slain County veterans and peace officers.
 
Clothes for Kids. Organized the Dan Logue Senior Cloths for Kids Golf Tournament. Named after Dan’s father who was a World War II veteran, this event helped raise over $120,000 in one month and provided funds to buy clothes for 700 needy children.
 
Keeping Kids Safe. Received the “A Plus Award” from the local school board for organizing an effort to build a 2000-foot sidewalk to keep kids out of the street. By organizing volunteers to construct the sidewalk, he saved taxpayers thousands of dollars.
